Sustainability at Poké House: Our Commitment to a Greener Future

  • Our seafood is sourced from trust vendors who hold many sustainability certifications, ensuring responsible and ethical farming practices.

  • All of our produce is USDA-certified and locally sourced.

  • Our packaging is made from 100% recycled materials and our interior features reclaimed wood to reduce carbon footprint.

  • Our ongoing commitment to sustainability extends beyond our doors as we support marine conservation organizations.

At Poké House, we believe that great food and sustainability go hand in hand. As a restaurant that prides itself on fresh ingredients and responsible sourcing, we are dedicated to reducing our environmental impact while serving high-quality, delicious poke bowls.

Sustainable Seafood: Responsibly Sourced, Always

We take seafood seriously—both in taste and sustainability. Our salmon is sourced from the Faroe Islands or trusted vendors who hold Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) certification, ensuring responsible and ethical farming practices. These farms also meet global sustainability standards such as ISO 14001, BAP (Best Aquaculture Practice), and MSC (Marine Stewardship Council).

Why farmed over wild-caught salmon? Farmed salmon is not only more sustainable but also safer for consumption, as wild-caught salmon can contain harmful parasites like sea lice and worms.

We prepare our salmon daily to ensure quality and taste. To reduce food waste, we put all our unused salmon byproducts onto TooGoodToGo!

Our tuna is caught using long-line fishing, one of the most environmentally friendly commercial fishing methods, while our octopus is HACCP-certified and sourced responsibly from the Pacific Ocean. Long-line fishing is considered one of the most sustainable and environmentally friendly commercial fishing methods.

Tuna is a low calorie, and lean source of protein. It is also an excellent source of B12. Tuna is what we recommend if you are looking for protein-packed meal at Poke House!

Supporting Local, Reducing Our Footprint

Sustainability goes beyond seafood—we ensure that our produce is USDA-certified and sourced from local vendors within 150 miles of our restaurants whenever possible. By working with local farmers, we support small businesses while reducing carbon emissions from transportation.

Fresh produce straight to your bowl!

Eco-Friendly Packaging & Interior Design

We believe sustainability should be present in every aspect of our restaurant. Our poke bowls are made from 100% recycled materials, reducing waste while still offering a premium dining experience. Additionally, our interiors feature reclaimed wood, giving new life to existing materials rather than sourcing new ones.

We used reclaimed wood for our interior design at all our locations. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, but it portrays our commitment to sustainability!

Fighting Food Waste & Protecting Marine Life

At Poké House, we actively fight food waste through programs like TooGoodToGo, helping reduce perfectly good food from going to waste. Additionally, we’ve partnered with REEF.org and Ocean Rescue Alliance International to support marine conservation and ocean preservation efforts.

Our Ongoing Commitment

Sustainability isn’t a one-time effort—it’s an ongoing journey, one that we are committed to doing. We continuously review our products, sourcing practices, and operational procedures to find new ways to reduce our carbon footprint and be as eco-friendly as possible.

By dining at Poké House, you're not just enjoying a fresh, flavorful meal—you’re supporting a business that prioritizes sustainability, ethical sourcing, and environmental responsibility.
